The transfer story surrounding Harry Kane’s transition from Tottenham to Manchester City is coming to a close. The City is ready to make “Spurs” the last offer, and rumors about alternative goals of the club appear in the press.
What does Manchester City offer?
Manchester City will make every effort to reach a deal with Tottenham. The club has a little over two weeks to complete the agreement until the transfer window ends on August 31.
Man City made a second official offer to the “Spurs,” reports The Telegraph. This time it was £ 125 million, or € 146 million. Part-exchange players may enter the picture, although such transactions are pretty hard to balance. There were rumors that Raheem Sterling could have added to the proposed £ 125 million, but the player refused to move to London. Other options included Gabriel Jesus and Bernardo Silva, who was linked to Barcelona and Atlético this summer. What alternatives does City have?
The Daily Mail believes that Man City will no longer be ready to pay such a sum for Kane next summer. The essential factor, in this case, will be the age of the Englishman, who will turn 29 in a year. Since the opening of the transfer window, Jack Grealish and Harry Kane became the main goals of Manchester City this summer. Josep Guardiola was not interested in any alternatives for both positions.
