The 2022 FIFA World Cup kicks off in Qatar on 20 November. In the group stage, 32 teams are divided into eight groups (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H) with four teams each. The first and second teams in each group will advance to the 1/8 finals of the tournament. The final match will take place on 18 December.
Each national team can have 26 players, including three goalkeepers, in its bid for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The final squad can be announced until 13 November 2022. Replacements for injured players or those infected with coronavirus are allowed 24 hours before the first game at the 2022 World Cup.
